Tired of trying to research what camps are available for your kids in Memphis this summer? We’ve done all the hard work for you! Browse our guide, and rest easy knowing that your kids will not be bored this summer!


Briarcamp offers summer fun with individual camps from 3 years to high school.  With a variety of coaches’ camps, your camper can improve their jump shot, work on their serve,  go for the long pass and increase their speed and endurance.    If your camper is crazy for Legos or computer, loves to draw and paint, dreams of being a super scientist, or maybe creates delicacies in the kitchen, then Briarcamp is for you.   Day camp is also available for drop-ins or by the week.

Central Day Camp

For more than 30 years, Central Day Camp has served families with our outstanding summer program. Your child’s summer can be filled with fun and friends while hopefully learning something new in the process.

Our fees are all-inclusive, meaning the weekly fee covers all of our activities on and off campus. When you sign your child up they will be placed in 1 of our 3 camps, which are divided by age groups:

Camp 1 (K-2nd grade) is all about movement and exploration. This age likes to move around so Sega Gymnastics, skating, sprinkler park, and the Children’s museum are just some of the field trips planned for this age group.

Camp 2 (3rd-5th grade) enjoys moving around but also have varied interests. This camp goes to Incredible Pizza, the Zoo, Laser Quest, and Jumping World, to name a few.

Camp 3 (6th-8th grade) is designed to keep middle school minds and bodies active. Along with going on field trips, this group can be a mentor friend to Camps 1 and 2 campers, implement a carnival for the kids at LeBonheur Children’s Hospital, and  collect and take items to the Collierville Animal Shelter.

St. Columba Mud Camp

A Christian camp in the Episcopal tradition, Mud Camp serves more than 700 boys and girls in the Memphis-area. St. Columba’s beautiful 145-acre campus and world-famous MUD HOLE provides a natural space to learn, sing, play and make friends. Kid's Play Flour Power Cooking Camp

Little Chefs get ready to come and stir up FUN!

During this week-long adventure, our campers will learn through hands-on cooking, journaling, and craft activities. When we’re not busy in the kitchen, we’ll be sifting our sillies out on the Kid’s Play equipment.

This week is sure to be DELICIOUS!

Kid's Play Pretty Pretty Princess Camp

Kid's Play Fitness Fun Camp

Through relay races, games, exercise, team work, and fun, our campers will learn how to perform real exercises, and make good healthy living choices. With healthy snacks and lunch options along with our daily activities, event he most energetic camper will be challenged. This camp is designed with developmentally appropriate practice in mind for our campers’ gross and fine motor skills.

KROC Camps

We offer 9 weeks of camps throughout the summer for kid’s ages 4-12 years old.

Zoo Camp 2016

Send your wild child to the wildest camp around: ZOO CAMP. Campers will explore the fascinating world of animals while participating in fun games, crafts, tours, keeper chats, live animal visits, and more. Parents must provide a non-refrigerated, non-microwavable lunch.

All new for 2016: 4 day Specialty Camps for the weeks of Memorial Day and Labor Day and now Beforecare and Aftercare may be added either by the day or for the entire week!

Memphis Jewish Community Center

MJCC Summer Camp is the place to be for kids age 3 through 10th grade. Our dedicated staff and amazing facility make our summer camp better than the rest. Each camper gets small group swim lessons as part of the camp day along with arts and crafts, sports, free swim, all-camp activities, and field trips. Specialty and Sports Camps are available for those campers who want to focus on a particular activity.

Summer @ Harding

Summer @ Harding is AWESOME! Join us to make new friends, enjoy Memphis-themed activities, take field trips, swim, and participate in service projects and cooking opportunities. Make great summer 2016 memories this year at Harding!

Summer Day Camp, LEAP Camps, and Sport Camps are open to the community beginning with Senior Kindergarten. Summer Day Camp for twos, threes, and fours is open to students enrolled at Harding.

Memphis Botanic Garden

Our nature camps meet in My Big Backyard, a Nature Explore® Certified Classroom dedicated to connecting kids with nature. From there we are able to explore all 96 acres that Memphis Botanic Garden has to offer!

We conduct week-long day camps for age groups from 4 to 12 years. With themes ranging from “Outdoor Explorers” and “I Heart Hooping,” your child is sure to enjoy a wide variety of crafts and exploration.

Collierville Taekwondo Camp

Collierville Taekwondo Summer Camp offers a safe, fun, and active place to let children ages 4-13 develop martial arts skills and learn valuable lessons. Master Jung Ho Kim is the Chief Instructor, a 7th degree black belt in Taekwondo, 7th degree black belt in Judo, and 5th degree black belt in Hapkido.

Summer Art Camp

Explore, discover, create and have fun in Memphis College of Art’s Summer Art Camp. We offer accomplished teaching artists, small class sizes, flexible schedules, a variety of media and excellent facilities. Classes range from exploratory creative expression to rigorous investigation of design principles. Shelby Farms Woodland Discovery Summer Camps

In 2011, the Park launched its first summer camp and this year the programming options, much like the Park, have been expanded and improved. Creative Minds Art Studios

Our fun & enriching half day programs educate, inspire & entertain your creative young artists! Madonna Learning Center Summer Camp

Located in Germantown, Madonna Learning Center provides a nurturing faith-based educational and social environment that empowers young and adult students with special needs to reach their full potential while offering support to their families.

This year, we will be having a 4-week summer camp open to individuals ages 5 and up with intellectual disabilities at our newly renovated campus! Each day, campers are placed with a small group of peers, along with a head counselor and several volunteers. The top priority is to ensure all campers are fully engaged in all activities throughout the day.

Camp Fly High 2016 will be held at Madonna Learning Center’s newly renovated campus at 7007 Poplar Ave. in Germantown, TN. Camp will be held every day from 10am to 4pm during the following weeks of the summer:   June 13 – 17 June 20 – 24 July 11 – 15 July 18 – 22

The Little Gym of Germantown, TN

Day camp at The Little Gym of Germantown, TN gives your kid the summer camp experience in without the bug bites, poison ivy and week-long commitments.     My two boys went to the camp at Memphis Botanic Gardens – my big back yard last summer for a week and really enjoyed it. They learned about nature, planting vegetables and flowers, and played in the sprinklers.
